As a mental health professional, with a background in both therapy and applied sports psychology, I help individuals to overcome challenges in their lives and conquer their problems. My goal is to help you find the strength and tools that will lead you on the journey of healing. I offer a non-judgmental and empathy focused therapeutic approach, as well as traditional talk therapy. My therapeutic approach is one that takes my client’s specific needs into consideration, I combine skills and perspectives from different treatment models such as: client centered therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, and applied sports psychology. I encourage my clients to utilize the tools and approaches that work best for them. I completed my internship for mental health counseling at the Zucker Hillside Hospital where I provided one-on-one counseling, group activities, and assessments to individuals with mental illnesses. I specialize in the treatment of stress and anxiety, depression, anger management, trauma, self-esteem and self-confidence issues, and exercise motivation. I hope to have the opportunity to work with you.
