Finding a therapist can be a tedious task for some, however it is a step in the direction
of positive change, growth, and empowerment. As a therapist, Connor is consistently
inspired by his client’s dedication and commitment to their own wellbeing and
happiness. Connor holds the client-therapist relationship in high esteem and strives to
create a comfortable, non judgmental, and caring environment to assist clients in
reaching their goals. Connor values diversity and individuality. He is a knowledgeable
advocate for the mental health of gender-nonconforming individuals, members of the
LGBTQIA+ community, and BIPOC.
Connor earned a master’s degree in mental health counseling from Manhattan College
and a bachelor’s in psychology from Long Island University. He has clinical experience working with adults at both an out-patient day treatment center and a college counseling center. Using evidence-based interventions including CBT, DBT, and mindfulness practices, Connor has thoughtfully assisted clients accomplish a variety of goals including; increasing motivation and self-esteem, overcoming relationship and interpersonal difficulties, and managing stress. He has successfully collaborated with clients to manage symptoms of depression, anxiety, phobias, addiction, trauma, and psychotic disorders.
