Ayane Kitta, MHC-LP

Navigating mental health issues can be challenging, especially in cultures where mental health is often misunderstood. As an expatriate in the US with a strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), Ayane is dedicated to providing compassionate and culturally informed care. She has experience working with a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship issues, family dynamics, grief and loss, childhood trauma, and identity struggles to individuals from various backgrounds.
“I am here to support your well-being and success, no matter where you are in your journey,” Ayane says. Her clinical practice takes an integrative approach, utilizing the Biopsychosocial Model to assess struggles from biological, psychological, and social perspectives. This comprehensive framework allows her to tailor evidence-based interventions to each individual’s needs, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, and Feminist Theory.
Ayane can provide counseling in Japanese upon request. 日本語でのカウンセリングも可能です。人生において苦しみを感じる方、自分に自信が持てない方、物事がうまくいかないと感じる方、心理カウンセリングを受けるのが初めてで不安な方も、まずはお気軽にお問い合わせください。
